Micro ring hair — real hair for sale

Micro ring processing is a gentle method without the use of adhesive or heat. At Hairland, we process natural hair into micro ring strands to order — each strand is finished with a small loop that is threaded through a special ring. The result is a secure attachment that does not stress your own hair.

How micro ring processing works

We arrange processing with a verified partner — a small loop at the end of the strand. During application, the stylist threads your own hair through the ring together with the strand loop and squeezes the ring with pliers. No adhesive, no heat.

1

No adhesive or heat

Mechanical ring attachment is the gentlest method — no chemicals or heat.

2

Easy maintenance

Rings can be easily repositioned or replaced without damaging hair.

3

Discreet bond

Miniature rings are virtually invisible, the ring color is chosen to match hair color.

4

Natural movement

Hair moves freely because the bond is small and flexible.

Who is micro ring processing suitable for

Micro ring hair is ideal for women with sensitive scalp or adhesive allergies. Suitable for medium to thick hair. We recommend regular maintenance by a stylist every 6–8 weeks.

Frequently asked questions

Is the micro ring method painful?▼
No, the application is completely painless. The ring is squeezed with pliers around your hair — there is no heating, gluing or chemical process. You may feel slight pressure when the ring is squeezed, but it is not painful. Most clients consider micro ring the most comfortable extension method. If you have a sensitive scalp, inform the stylist — they will adjust the squeezing pressure.
Can rings fall out?▼
With proper application, rings hold firmly throughout the wearing period. Occasionally, an individual ring may loosen — most often due to too fine a strand of your own hair or incorrect brushing near the bonds. The stylist can easily re-secure it during regular maintenance. The correct ring size and squeezing pressure are key — that is why we recommend application exclusively by an experienced stylist.
How are micro ring extensions removed?▼
The stylist opens the ring with special pliers in the opposite direction from which it was squeezed, and the strand is simply pulled out. The process is quick (30–60 minutes for the entire head), gentle, and no cutting is needed. No adhesive or keratin residue remains on your own hair. After removal, you can reuse the same strands with new rings.
What hair type is micro ring suitable for?▼
Micro ring is ideal for medium to thick hair. With very fine or thin hair, there is a risk that rings will be visible or will overload your own hair. In that case, we recommend the tape-in method instead. Micro ring is an excellent choice for women with adhesive allergies, as the entire process is purely mechanical — no chemicals. The ring color is chosen to match hair color for maximum discretion.
How often do micro ring extensions need repositioning?▼
Repositioning (retightening) is recommended every 6–8 weeks, once your own hair has grown out and the rings have moved away from the roots. The stylist opens the ring, moves the strand closer to the roots and squeezes a new ring. The entire process takes 45–90 minutes. Regular repositioning ensures a natural look and prevents unnecessary stress on your own hair.
Can I sleep and exercise with micro ring hair?▼
Yes, micro ring hair is designed for all-day and all-night wear. Before sleeping, we recommend tying hair in a loose braid or ponytail so the rings do not tangle. During sports, it is also advisable to tie hair. You can run, do yoga, swim and cycle with them. After swimming, rinse hair and let air dry naturally. The only limitation is strong mechanical pulling — avoid hairstyles with extreme tension.
What size micro ring rings do I need?▼
Ring size depends on the thickness of your hair. For fine hair, smaller rings (2.5 mm) are used, for medium-thick hair standard (3 mm) and for thick hair larger (3.5 mm). Ring color is chosen to match hair color — we have blonde, brown, black and copper rings available for maximum discretion.
Can I go to the pool with micro ring hair?▼
Yes, micro ring hair withstands water contact because the bond is purely mechanical — no adhesive that could dissolve. After swimming in a pool with chlorine, rinse thoroughly with clean water. The same applies for the sea with salt water. Let hair air dry naturally after swimming or blow-dry on a low setting.
How do I know it is time to reposition the rings?▼
When the rings have grown out 2–3 cm from the roots, it is time for repositioning. Another signal is if you feel the rings are looser or wobbling when brushing. We recommend a check-up with the stylist every 6–8 weeks, even if the rings still hold firmly — prevention is better than solving problems.
What is the difference between micro ring and tape-in hair?▼
Micro ring uses metal rings without adhesive and heat — it is the gentlest method. Tape-in uses adhesive tapes. Micro ring requires repositioning every 6–8 weeks, tape-in requires re-taping at the same interval. Micro ring is more suitable for allergy sufferers and sensitive skin, tape-in is faster to apply.
Can I color micro ring hair?▼
Yes, micro ring processed hair is made from 100% human hair and can be colored. Color should not come in contact with the metal rings — the stylist applies color with a distance from the bonds. Lightening is possible, but we recommend testing on one strand.
How many micro ring strands do I need for a full head?▼
For natural lengthening, usually 100–150 strands, for a dramatic full-length and volume effect 150–200 strands. The exact number depends on your hair density and desired result. The stylist will recommend the optimal number during a consultation.
Are micro ring rings visible?▼
With proper application and ring color choice, they are virtually invisible. Rings are placed under the top layer of hair, so they are covered. With very short hairstyles or in the wind, they may be visible upon close inspection — in that case, we recommend dense placement with smaller rings.
How to properly brush hair with micro ring?▼
Always brush from the tips upward, with a wide-tooth comb. Be careful in the ring area — do not pull through the rings with force. We recommend detangling hair 2–3 times daily to prevent tangling. A special brush with flexible bristles is the ideal choice.
What is the total lifespan of micro ring hair?▼
The hair itself lasts 6–12 months with proper care (depends on category — Virgin lasts longer, Standard shorter). Rings are repositioned during this time every 6–8 weeks. Overall, the same strands can be worn with repeated repositioning 3–5 times.
